80% Sangiovese – 20% Merlot
VINIFICATION
Fermentation in new cellars in stainless steel tanks at an highest temperature of 30° C for around 8-10 days.
MATURATION
This wine is produced with Prognolo Gentile grapes and it remains in cement tanks until June. Merlot, is 20% of this product, is refined in American oak barriques of 225 lt, half of them are new, the others traditional. Then refinement in bottle for a short period.
POSSIBILITY OF AGEING
May be matured for 3-5 years.
MATCHES
It has good balance between complexity and pleasantness, so it is a good table wine.
